FAQs
What exactly does Neurowild mean?
Great question...take a look at this page here.
Can I use psychedelics, natural, plant and sacred medicines on my own?
Yes, and…it’s really important to have enough information about yourself and the medicines you want to work with to minimize risk and negative health outcomes. Some prescription medications, health conditions and experiences can make psychedelics very dangerous.
I believe we should trust people’s autonomy to decide for themselves how and when to work with expanded states of consciousness practices. I’m here to support. I love working with people to explore, support and strengthen their personal plant and fungal medicine practices!
Who do you work with?
I love working with people looking to live more authentically. Often this comes with significant life changes - healing and transformation times, empty nesting, new parents, new self understanding, divorce, retirement etc. Sometimes this includes holding neurowild, highly-creative, and queer identities while navigating ways to be more yourself and create a life that serves you rather than quiets or harms you.
If you don’t feel represented in the (very narrow) above list, but still are curious if we may be a good fit, reach out!
Can I work with you and still work with my therapist or other members of my wellness team?
Yes, absolutely! Health and wellness supports can take many forms - therapists, medications, music, dance, art, hiking, family, friends, nature bathing, travel, tattoos! etc. - and I believe it takes a whole community to creatively meet our ever-changing needs as humans. With your consent, I love talking and collaborating with other trusted people who care for you to best support your needs and goals.
How much will expanded states work cost?
Take a look at my rate structure; and we will discuss in our initial exploration call. I prefer to work with long-term journeyers and require all new journeyers to meet for a minimum of 3 sessions of ‘dry’ work (no expanded state) before any medicine sessions. You can expect to budget roughly $2,500 - $3,500 per round of larger dose medicine work. When working with lower dose sessions, people typically benefit from meeting weekly and then tapering as needed.
How long is each session?
Psycholytic and non-medicine sessions typically last 1-2 hours, most sessions with larger medicine doses last 4-6 hours.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel a scheduled session for any reason, I ask that you notify me at least 48 hours before the appointment time.
Late cancellation/no-show fee: If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice or do not show up without any notification, you are still responsible for and will be charged the full cost of the scheduled session.
The only exceptions where the late cancellation/no-show fee will be waived are for sudden, genuine illness or emergency. Even in these cases, you are expected to make a best-attempt effort to communicate with me in a timely manner.
Can you sell me psilocybin mushrooms, DMT, Ibogaine, Cannabis or Ketamine?
No.
What is "Natural Medicine" in Colorado's regulated system?
The regulated access model established by the Natural Medicine Health Act (Proposition 122) initially focuses on psilocybin and psilocin (the active compounds in "magic mushrooms") for supervised administration sessions. Other natural medicines like N-N DMT, ibogaine, and mescaline (excluding peyote) are decriminalized for personal use, but are not currently part of the regulated access program at licensed Healing Centers.
What is the difference between "Regulated Access" and "Personal Use"?
-
Regulated Access: This is the supervised use of psilocybin with a licensed facilitator at a licensed Natural Medicine Healing Center or an authorized location. This is the only legal way to receive, purchase, and consume natural medicine within a professional, compensated setting.
-
Personal Use: Colorado law decriminalized the personal possession, consumption, growing, and sharing (without sale) of psilocybin, psilocin, DMT, ibogaine, and mescaline (excluding peyote) for adults 21 and older. However, it is illegal to sell or market these substances for personal use, and a practitioner (guide) cannot charge a fee for the substance itself, only for the bona fide preparation, administration, and integration services.
NOTE: all services described through this website are compliant with personal use regulations in the state of Colorado. I do not offer regulated, licensed facilitation in a healing center through this site.
